The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce invites Southern Arizona’s LGBTQIA+ Community and Allies to their Burlesque-Themed Holiday Gay-La. The event takes place Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Tucson Museum of Art. Back for the first time in three years, the Gay-La is proving to be bigger and better than ever, as the most glamorous event of the season supporting the LGBTQIA+ business community.
An evening of delights for all the senses, attendees will walk the red carpet as professional photographers snap away. Guests will be treated to delicious bites as they float about the room, immersed in the seductive glamour of burlesque performances, live music, and Tucson’s gay glitterati. Everyone can enjoy as an observer or a playful participant in the elegance and fun as the soirée spills onto the patio under the twinkling stars.
Why this event now? We can’t deny that the landscape of Arizona requires fortitude, togetherness, and celebration for the community that fuels our local businesses every day.
The Gay-La is a celebratory farewell to 2022, as we embrace our community’s values and resilience moving boldly into a New Year. Standing up and out, proud of who we are in the world, The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce welcomes all who view inclusivity as a benefit to business and community.
Tickets are $100, inclusive of all the night’s activities, performances, burlesque-themed photo booth (by Desert Memories), food (by Gallery of Food & Dedicated Gluten Free), and a complimentary beverage. Miss Olivia and The Interlopers
Anchored by the creative core of powerhouse vocalist Olivia Reardon and nuanced bassist David Hostetler, this is a band that leads from the heart but never compromises on craft. Drawing from influences ranging all the way from Erykah Badu, Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, St. Vincent, Lake Street Dive, Durand Jones and a million bands more, Miss Olivia & The Interlopers is a band whose performances are always unique but never less than their collective best, whether performing in a small space as an intimate trio, or as a full, dynamic eclectic rock ensemble.
