About Ursula
Ursula Benward has been a counselor for 19 years. She has her own private practice, Hózhó Counseling, which provides teletherapy to children, adults, families, and couples in the state of Arizona. She started her career working as a child therapist for the first 10 years, before moving into work as an integration specialist for a primary care health center, mood and family therapist for a residential treatment center, and a crisis specialist for the Southern AZ Crisis Line. Ursula specializes in an integrative approach, using techniques from play, art, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-focused therapies. She is originally from the Navajo Nation. She currently resides in Tucson, AZ, where she started her private practice with a goal to provide accessible counseling to underserved populations, especially Native families and 2SLGBTIA+ youth.
